Evaluation Expert (Laos Nationals Only) At AAN Associates

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review essential project related documents including the KII Guide/Tool and Evaluation Matrix.
• Conduct In-depth Key Informant Interview with identified stakeholders.
• Provide notes for each completed Key Informant Interview.
• Draft the evaluation report (response to the key evaluation question against DAC Criteria (Relevance, Effectiveness, Efficiency & Sustainability) and an additional Gender, Equity and Human Rights criterion).
• Revise evaluation report to incorporate feedback received from Team Lead and UNICEF

Qualifications and Desired Skills

• Professional writing skills/ research experience about UN Agencies’ practices, preferably penning, editing and proofreading evaluation reports
• Participants with a strong background in one or multiple of the following fields will be highly considered: ECD, Education, Evaluation, Child Protection
• Proficiency working with data and with MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point), and any other relevant software
• Masters’ degree in Development Studies/Social Sciences (or related subject) from a reputable/recognized university
• Ten (10) years of similar work experience preferred (preferably in research and evaluation), with consulting entities and social sector organizations, including UNICEF
