All international prospects are welcome to apply, however, due to the time zone and to ensure an efficient workflow, European-based prospects are preferred.

Type of contract: Permanent.

Start date: Until the position is filled.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client a Project Manager specializing in Water & Wastewater to join one of the leading European Consultants within the water and wastewater field in Denmark, Germany, and any other location in Europe.

The expert will be part of a global experienced team, overseeing Project management of IFI financed projects, leading proposal writing, and providing market and business intelligence. The Project Manager’s main task will be to manage projects and proposals, for donors/International funding Agencies, including the EC, EBRD, KfW, ADB, and the World Bank. Depending on the pandemic situation progress, several travels per year are foreseen.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree, preferably MSc or equivalent;
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in the water & wastewater sector;
  • At least 5 years of international experience;
  • Practical experience working with IFI financed projects (World Bank, EIB, KfW, DSIF/Danida, EBRD, AFD, AfDB, ADB, etc.);
  • Experience in project planning phases, like masterplans along with strong knowledge in feasibility studies;
  • Solid and proved experience in proposal writing;
  • Work experience in FIDIC Contract conditions would be an asset;
  • Regional experience in Africa and/or EECA is considered a strong asset;
  • Fluent knowledge of English, additional French or Spanish language will be considered an asset;
  • Located in Europe, preferably Denmark, Germany, or Austria, but not a must;
  • Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills.
