Why your role matters

Events and getting together are primary pathways for us to implement our mission. By deepening the direct engagement with leaders and decision-makers in the development, aid and private sector, we gain influence and strengthen our mandate to build better non-profit organizations that deliver more impact.

How you will help

Great events and purposeful, helpful correspondence do not just happen. Working together with the Thought Leadership Manager, you will have sole and direct responsibility to organise, promote, communicate, attract guests/attendees and hold great events. These will be primarily online (webinars, funding clinics, briefings, follow up conversations) but also offline (conference placements, speaker arrangements, own hosted events organisation, free training hosting, etc). You will also lead the continuous development of all knowledge partnerships with Universities, trade unions, conference organisers, etc.

Just as important as the above is customer service communications. You will be the first point of contact for new and existing potential partners and clients and respond to enquiries through our website and social media accounts. You will also actively communicate with existing contacts to give them personalised notice of events, articles, and contacts that might be helpful to them.

In short, you will be a public face of MzN International and help a global team of experts to do good, better!

Do great events! Manage, oversee and promote all engagement activities such as conferences, roundtables, webinars, and training (in-person and offline), including research for suitable formats, planning, scheduling, staffing, and follow up on events. 3. Speak up! Communicate with new and existing contacts always in a helpful, personalised and professional as well as proactive manner
