General Call for Risk Communication and Community Engagement Experts At Crown Agents

About the role

Crown Agents are actively seeking to engage with experienced Risk Communication and Community Engagement Experts for upcoming Global projects, frameworks and assignments in 2022.

About you

• A Master’s degree in public health, communication, social science, or related discipline and/or combined relevant experience
• A minimum of 8 years relevant experience in risk communication, health promotion, emergency management, part of which working in expanded programmes on immunisation (EPI), disease outbreaks or health emergencies in developing countries.
• Preferred direct experience working on Covid-19 vaccination efforts.
• A Master’s degree in public health, communication, social science, or related discipline and/or combined relevant experience
• Proven experience in the development and implementation of risk communications strategies and plans.
• Experience working with the Ministry of Health in implementing similar programs would be an advantage.
• Excellent communications skills, including writing and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, diplomacy and tact to effectively communicate with senior-level officials, multiple stakeholders and professionals from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds
• Strong professional oral communication and writing skills, including the development of reports, oral presentations, and technical/persuasive documents
• Fluency in a second language (such as French or Russian) will be advantageous, but not essential
