Diversity and Inclusion Specialist (Gender parity, disability inclusion, anti-racism and LGBTQI) – Retainer/Multiple hires, Multiple positions At UNOPS

Purpose and Scope of Assignment

The Diversity and Inclusion Specialist Retainers will work under the overall supervision of the Diversity and Inclusion HR Specialist in Copenhagen Headquarters and provide specific expertise on relevant identity groups (particularly Gender parity, disability inclusion, anti-racism and/or LGBTQI). The Specialists will be responsible for supporting with building internal capacity on these topics and also supporting the People and Change Group with the rollout and implementation of the corporate Gender, Diversity and Inclusion (GD&I) Workforce Strategy. Specifically the incumbents will:

• Support Regions in the roll out of the GD&I Strategy; support with the development of their GD&I Action Plans.
• Provide technical expertise in one or several of the focus areas (Gender Parity, Disability inclusion, anti-racism, LGBQTI+) to the regions/business units to enable strategy implementation.
• Advise Corporate D&I Panel as required (on Disability inclusion, anti-racism and/or LGBQTI+).
• Review HR policies and processes to ensure inclusion of identity groups.
• Support development of a disability inclusion action plan to achieve UN System Wide priorities for example around UNDIS indicators, UN Globe recommendations, etc.
• Support with implementing our D&I related standard of conduct ambitions (victim-centered approach, trusted by personnel etc).
• Provide sound subject matter expertise and advice to the People and Change Group, and other relevant stakeholders as required.

The incumbents will be offered retainer contracts, i.e. one issued for a period of time during which the services of the Individual Contractor will be required to work when and as required. There is no expectation of a minimum number of working days, and the workload will depend on the needs of UNOPS.
