As the eLearning and Development Specialist, you will be a uniquely skilled, passionate, international development and adult learning professional bringing experience in coordination, design and facilitation of both synchronous and asynchronous online learning for technical programming staff. You will work alongside the Technical Academy Manager, Project Model Leads, Subject Matter Experts, eFacilitators, Instructional Designers and the Course Managers to design, implement and scale-up the WV online learning approach.

You will contribute to our approach to online learning, work with key stakeholders to determine learning and development needs and work alongside subject matter experts and consultants to design and deliver solutions that drive performance and continually increase program effectiveness.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Adult Education, Capacity Building, International Development or the equivalent preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Online learning and learning design, with recognized expertise in training, facilitation and capacity building (both online and offline).
  • Demonstrated experience in an NGO (or similar) context in working with community/grassroot people and organizations in local economic development.
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Full ability to communicate cross-culturally and be cross-culturally sensitive.
  • High degree of proficiency in using email, MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Professional, Moodle.
