Jouri Research and Consulting is pleased to announce an opportunity for interns to work with a Consulting firm specialised in the Middle East region.

The intern will ensure effective use and management of the data generated through Jouri’s research assignments, monitoring and evaluation contracts, focusing on the following:

A. IMPLEMENTATION OF M&E STRATEGIES FOCUSING ON THE KEY FOLLOWING RESULTS:

• Effective support to Programme Manager (PM) in identification, documentation, synthesis of data and lessons learned and best practices for the research and M&E reports and to be integrated into broader knowledge management efforts.

• Contribution to the implementation of Evaluation Knowledge Management and Learning Strategy

• Established system and updated documentation of research reports, studies and evaluations are maintained.

• Facilitation and participation in results-oriented monitoring and evaluation training efforts.

B. REPORTING

• Ensure Timely reporting arrangements are in place and being implemented to guarantee that the client’s reporting requirements are met in a timely manner.

• Developing appropriate reporting formats to meet all reporting requirements by clients (including government, donors and implementing partners);

• Producing high quality reports according to the research findings and client’s specifications and needs.

• Ensure the consistency of the information across different reports.

• Providing quality assurance, including data verification, on all reports and information products produced by editing and consolidating report’s contents for clients and external distribution.

C. INFORMATION ANALYSIS AND MANAGEMENT

• Lead on the robust management and analysis of data across Jouri’s project portfolio.

• Effective showcase to clients on progress made and impacts delivered

• Ensure the quality and accuracy of information as defined in the M&E.

• Undertaking other duties as assigned by the PM.

Required Skills and Experience

• Recent graduates of universities or colleges (degree preferably in international studies related fields).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Background in research.
• Interest in the Middle East region.
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English is a must. Knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
• Computer literacy: Microsoft Office, Internet.
• Flexible, pro-active, and enthusiastic team player with a persistent drive to deliver results.
