The main target group for the International Junior Professionals Programme are persons who are at an early stage of their career. The junior consultancies in the International Junior Professionals Programme replace ILGA World’s internship opportunities that we offered in the past. As an international programme, any person may apply except those living in Switzerland.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following tasks:

  • produce visual materials (images, videos, infographics, and more) for ILGA World’s social media channels, website, and other communication outputs
  • provide timely and accurate English/Spanish translations of articles, social media posts, and other communication outputs, to help ensure that all ILGA World communications are always published in both languages
  • assist the communications team in the planning and development of campaigns – including in the production of audio-visual materials
  • upload content to the digital platforms that ILGA World will employ for its World Conference – ensuring that programme & speaker information, instant messages, and more are always updated, and that user enquiries are promptly answered to
  • attend the 2022 ILGA World Conference (either virtually or in-person in Long Beach, CA, United States, depending on organisational capacity) to provide real-time assistance with enquiries and updates around the conference digital platforms, and with the organisation of communication-related events
  • organise a daily press review to monitor ILGA World’s presence on mainstream media, as well as global LGBTI-related news
  • assist the communications team in the preparation of podcast episodes (organising interviews, assisting with audio editing, transcribing the episodes, translating the transcriptions)
