Job Title: Peer Navigator, Assistant

Locations: S.H.E Wellness Center Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment type: Short-term

Job Purpose

  • The Peer Navigator will coordinate and support the operations of the hub. They will support the enrollment and onboarding of new enrollees at the hub.
  • They will coordinate and support visitor journeys to the hub and provide answers to FAQs for enrollees, visitors, and other stakeholders. They will serve as a peer educator for the other Adolescent girls and Young Women who are prospective beneficiaries of training at the SHE Centre.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the visitor journeys for hub visitors and stakeholders.
  • Support beneficiary journeys for all cohort enrollees.
  • Support the coordination of daily activities of the SHE Centre.
  • Participate in graduation and orientation activities at the center across the STEM and AYP hub.
  • Facilitate allocation of accommodation to girls assigned to the SHELTER component of the SHE Centre.
  • Support the documentation of project best practices, and success stories, and preparation of necessary materials, tools, and other resources needed to collect data for the formation of knowledge management products.
  • Support recruitment and advocacy efforts for the hub.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum SSCE required qualification.
  • A graduate degree in any subject is a plus.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with competencies in public speaking, stakeholder engagement, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to communicate in the local language and good knowledge of the terrain would be an advantage.
