Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale field operations and multi-team data collection activities.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, deployment, and supervision of field teams.
  • Implement strong data quality assurance systems, including supervision, spot checks, and compliance monitoring.
  • Coordinate planning, approvals, and engagement with government counterparts and partners.
  • Ensure secure data handling, safeguarding compliance, and ethical field conduct.
  • Manage logistics, timelines, weekly reporting, and problem resolution during implementation.
  • Deliver clean datasets, documentation, and a comprehensive fieldwork report.
  • Strengthen the capacity of government or partner teams through coaching and joint implementation.
  • Represent Farsight in meetings, technical sessions, and stakeholder engagements.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in education, social sciences, statistics, economics, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years’ experience leading large-scale data collection or research operations.
  • At least 5 years of strong field management and data quality assurance experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-county and multi-team logistics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with government stakeholders.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).

Preferred:

  • Work experience in Liberia’s public sector, education sector, or development programs.
  • Prior experience leading national surveys, enumerator teams, or large field operations.
