By joining us at WaterAid as our new Senior Digital Campaigner you could genuinely change lives by helping bring clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to everyone, everywhere.

This is a full-time position on a 12-month contract. This role will be based in a country where WaterAid has a presence within one of the following regions and within reasonable time-zones: West Africa and South Asia – subject to cost and communication with the majority of WaterAid countries being practical.

You’ll work directly with WaterAid teams in several countries across Africa and South Asia, helping them to create exciting digital strategies and content, and expand the use of digital channels to mobilise local support from citizens, civil society organisations and the media to influence decision-makers and drive political change on a national level. You’ll advise and train our staff in country and regional teams in cutting-edge digital campaign tactics so that they can continue making an impact online. You’ll work with our advocacy and campaigns team to transform the way we do digital campaigning for good.

About you
* You have proven experience leading digital campaigns in African and/or South Asian countries that deliver real impact
* You have impeccable editorial skills, including commissioning, creating and publishing tailored digital content and making sound judgements regarding copy, imagery, video and user interaction
* You’re an internationalist, constantly switched on to global events, and ideally speak English and French
* You’re an incredible team player with an exceptional ability to collaborate and communicate with people in person and online

Salaries and benefits for different locations will vary in line with WaterAid’s country salary scales. WaterAid benefits vary depending on the country of the successful candidate.

Additional Information:
WaterAid’s HQ is in Canary Wharf, London but this role will be based in a country where WaterAid has a presence within one of the following regions and within reasonable time-zones: West Africa and South Asia – subject to cost and communication with the majority of WaterAid countries being practical.
